A 21-year-old young man who had come to meet his girlfriend in Bhopal was murdered by her brother and burnt his body and buried it in a field. Police recovered the half-burnt body on Friday.

Police Commissioner Harinarayan Chari said, 'Sanju Sisodia (21), a resident of Kajlikheda village of Kolar police station area, had gone to meet his girlfriend on November 23. She also lives in Kajlikheda village. Sanju did not return after which the family lodged a missing complaint at Kolar police station.

On the basis of suspicion, the police detained the girlfriend's brother Bhura Dhurve and interrogated him who confessed the murder. The police recovered the body from a field in Borda village buried the accused.

Sanju's father Babulal Sisodia said, 'My son left home at 11 pm on November 23 when he did not return, we searched everywhere, but could not find him anywhere. After this we lodged a report in the police station.

Sanju's cousin Rakesh Sisodia said, 'As soon as we got the news, we reached the spot with the police and found that most of the body was burnt. Only the face was left.

Due to which he could be identified. Sanju was stabbed twice on the chest. Perhaps they would be sharp edged objects. Both legs were not with his torso. There were burning marks at three places near the place where the dead body was found. It seems that an attempt was made to burn the dead body thrice and later he took the body and buried it.

Rakesh said, 'Sanju used to work as a labourer. The entire family of the accused is involved in his murder. Bulldozers should be used on his house.
