DC Palamu Anjaneyulu Dodde has cracked whip against those vested interests who in contravention to the provisions of the MGNREGA pressed machine in place of registered job card eligible men and women for the MGNREGA schemes and got the earth work done depriving the unskilled poor of their livelihood and wages besides opening loopholes in fudging the Muster Roll.

Two such incidents where JCB machines were pressed in for the MGNREGA schemes were detected under the Panki block in Palamu.
BDO Panki Chandan Kumar Singh said one FIR accusing one vendor and 5 beneficiaries of contravening the provisions of the MGNREG act by way of using JCB machine in the digging of wells has been lodged with the Pipra Tarn police station.
BDO Panki further said the second FIR is in the pipeline to be lodged against mukhiya, panchayat sachiv, rozgar sewak, mate, junior engineer assistant engineer, JCB machine owner and driver of Sooree panchayat with the Panki police station wherein identical contravention to the provisions of the MGNREG act by way of using JCB machine in mitti morrum road with huge ditches at places spread in 50 feet only has been established.
Sources said the BDO Panki Chandan Kumar Singh has acted swift following orders from the DC Palamu Anjaneyulu Dodde to act tough against the offenders of the MGNREGA schemes.
