In a significant overhaul of security following the Parliament security breach earlier this month, the government has opted to entrust the “comprehensive” security of the Parliament building complex to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
The CISF will manage access control to both the new and old Parliament complexes in a manner akin to airport security. This approach involves body frisking using hand-held detectors, while belongings will undergo scrutiny through X-ray machines.
