Prime Minister Narendra Modi may visit his parliamentary constituency on December 18 to inaugurate the world’s largest meditation centre and probably a rare temple where no gods are worshipped. Named after Swarved by Vihangam Yoga Sansthan, the seven-storey Mahamandir is spread over 68,000 square feet and it is a symbol of the wonderful harmony of craft and cutting-edge technology. Actually, it is a spiritual temple dedicated to Swarveda, a spiritual text with seven floors originally dedicated to the 7 chakras. The construction of the temple started about 20 years ago and it was visited by the PM in 2021 to participate in the 98th anniversary celebration of Vihangam Yoga of Swarved Mahamandir.

A 100 feet high sand stone statue of Sadgurudev has also been installed in the Mahamandir complex. The carving done on pink stones in three lakh square feet is also special. The followers across the world are eager to have a glimpse of this divine spiritual centre built with the coordination of ancient architecture. The main dome is like a giant lotus flower with 125 petals. The nine domes built with GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) technique in Gujarat are like nine lotuses. In May 2017, 21,000 Kundiya Swarveda Gyan Mahayagya was held at Swarved Mahamandir Dham at Umrah on Varanasi-Ghazipur highway. In this unique temple, couplets of Swaraveda are inscribed on the Makrana stones. About 5,000 couplets are being engraved on 50,000 using water jet technology. Along with making the Mahamandir beautiful, full care has also been taken of the architecture. The canal flowing in the east direction is established as a water body. The stone which is used for the construction of Lord Shri Ram Janmasthali temple is being used here as well. In this temple, there are stones from many places of Rajasthan. The wooden work in the Mahamandir is from Balsari teak in Gujarat.

The preparations for inauguration are going on in temple premises in full swing as more than three lakh devotees from across the country and the world are expected to attend the two-day inauguration ceremony. Preparations have also been started by the local administration on the report of possibilities of visit of the PM next month when Modi may also inaugurate the Amul plant along with the Phulwaria four-lane, the two ambitious projects whose foundation stones were also laid by Modi.
