Deputy Chairman, Rajya Sabha Harivansh addressed a gathering at the foundation week celebration event of Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad, Gorakhpur on Sunday.
Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath and Speaker of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Satish Mahana were also present at the event.
During his speech, Harivansh urged the youth to focus on holistic development of character and skills that are key for progress in the age of Artificial Intelligence. He added that, thanks to India’s younger population, the country will continue to enjoy the demographic dividend till the middle of this century thereby putting it on the path to be a developed nation by 2047.
He also appreciated the efforts of the Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad of working in this direction and implementing the principles of National Education Policy 2020.
Emphasising on the challenges of technology he said, “Technology is a double-edged sword. While it brings a lot of positive transformation in the society, it also comes with many challenges.
