CAIT flags misuse of data by makemytrip
New Delhi: The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has alleged misuse of Indian travelers' data by online travel company MakeMyTrip and expressed concern about data security and uneven competition in travel and tourism sector. CAIT has urged the government to examine business module of such companies and take necessary action, if required. CAIT has raised a big question mark on some big companies having Chinese investments in travel companies operating in India's travel and tourism sector. It has alleged that this has disrupted the domestic environment in this sector and by collecting huge data of travelers' through transactions; the possibilities of misuse or transfer of data are high.
POWERGRID Acquires 2 Transmission Projects in Rajasthan
New Delhi: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) - a Maharatna CPSU under Ministry of Power, has recently acquired two Project Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) Ramgarh II Transmission Limited and Beawar Dausa Transmission Limited for the Transmission System Projects for evacuation of power from REZ in Rajasthan (20GW) under Phase-III, Part C1 and Part H respectively after competing with various private sector players and emerging as successful bidder in tariff based competitive Bidding (TBCB) process.
National Rehabilitation Examination Board holds Convocation
New Delhi: In a landmark convocation ceremony organized by the National Rehabilitation Examination Board, an entity affiliated with the Rehabilitation Council of India under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, a momentous convergence of empowerment narratives unfolded at the Dr Ambedkar International Center in New Delhi.
