‘SIB Finathon' organised
New Delhi: South Indian Bank (SIB), in collaboration with Enactus - Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi held recently a hackathon competition titled 'SIB Finathon' wherein students from IIT across the country participated. Team Akatsuki from IIT, Delhi bagged the first prize followed by Team Hyperpersonalizers from IIT Roorkee and Team Phantom from Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT) stood third position.

MoU on greener future solutions inked
New Delhi: Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited, a leading power utility supplying electricity to a populace of 7 million in North Delhi, and India's premier institution Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to research and develop pioneering solutions for optimal use of energy, leading to greener and sustainable future through its "Urja Arpan" initiative.
Burns Ward, Stroke Centre at Naruvi Hosp soon
Chennai: Naruvi Hospitals, Vellore, will soon have its own full-fledged, dedicated Burns Ward and Stroke Centre, Dr GV Sampath, Chairman, said on Tuesday. Interacting with journalists at Naruvi Hospitals, Dr Sampath said that while they were treating people with burn injuries and also providing treatment for people suffering from stroke, they had decided to launch two newfacilities to provide comprehensive, holistic care.
