For the devotees coming in large numbers for Bhasmarti, Mahakal Temple Management Committee has decided that after the devotees who have registered the Bhasmari, those devotees who will not be able to register, they will be given entry for the Bhasmarti Darshan running from the last 2 rows of Kartikeya Mandapam. Arrangements will be observed for 7 days as an initial experiment.

In Ujjain world famous Baba Mahakal temple, devotees from all over the country reach for Bhasma Aarti to be done in the early morning of Baba Mahakal.

For devotees to attend Mahakal Temple Committee Bhasmarti, online and offline permission has to be taken. At present, there is a seating arrangement for 2000 people of devotees in the Bhasma Aarti in the Mahakal temple. The number of pilgrims coming is more than this. During the month of Sawan, the crowd of devotees increases in Baba Mahakal.

Many devotees want to participate in Bhasmarti but due to non-registration, they stay away from going to Bhasmarati. For such devotees, Ujjain Collector Ashish Singh proposed in front of the temple committee that such devotees should be offered Bhasma Aarti performed by two rows behind the Kartikeya Mandapam.

It should be started experimentally for 7 days, if this arrangement is successful then it can be continued continuously. For this, arrangements should be made for the entry and exit of devotees so that there is no disturbance in the ongoing incineration. If this arrangement is successful then no devotees visiting the temple will be deprived of Bhasma Aarti. Presently many pilgrims coming from outside are not able to attend.
