The Startup Odisha Yatra 2.0 launched by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik kick-started its van campaigning across the colleges of Bhubaneswar with an aim to search the best entrepreneurial ideas from among youths. The campaigning began among the academic institutions across the city from Monday.
On the first day, a thumping response was received and the ideas pitched were unique, thoughtful and futuristic. RD Women’s College, Utkal University, KIIT University, KISS University and Silicon Engineering College were covered in Route 1. On Route 2, IIIT Bhubaneswar, IMI Bhubaneswar and Odisha University of Technology and Research were covered. As a whole 50+ ideas were pitched that ranged among domains like EdTech, Health Tech, Agri Tech and outreached 500+ students.
The Startup Odisha Yatra 2.0 will reach all 30 districts, 100+ colleges, conduct 30+ boot camps, 100+ van campaigns and assemble 5,000+ ideas from 10,000+ aspiring entrepreneurs. The potential ideas shall be provided with mentorship and incubation support. The Yatra aims to sensitise youths about innovation and entrepreneurship, scout the best ideas and help them ace the opportunities available at Startup Odisha.
