The 1987 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre and Special Director General of Police Shailesh Singh has been accused of property grabbing. These allegations have been made by his own 90-year-old elderly mother Kailasi Devi. Earlier, his elder brother had also given a written complaint against Shailesh Singh. Now his mother's video is going viral on social media. In this, she is seeking help from the government with folded hands.
Madhya Pradesh cadre IPS officer Shailesh Singh is the Special Director General of Police, Police Reform. His property dispute is going on for some time now. His elder brother had complained to the police and the Human Rights Commission a few days back.
Now the recorded videos of his mother have surfaced. In these videos, his mother is accusing younger son Shailesh Singh and daughter of grabbing property. She is saying in the video that Shailesh is DG and says that both of them are troubling her for property and money.
She alleged that they wanted to evict them from the house where she lives. In another video, she is pleading for help by saying that she is 90 years old. She is saying that we live with our elder son. Shailesh Singh was accused of forcibly taking five lakh rupees from his mother and now trying to grab the property. Shailesh Singh has also been accused by the family of occupying properties in Bhopal and Gorakhpur and renting them out.
Kamlesh Singh, elder brother of Special DG Shailesh Singh, lives in Bhopal's Nehru Nagar. He has lodged a complaint with Bhopal Police Commissioner Makrand Deuskar and Madhya Pradesh State Human Rights Commission. In the complaint, Shailesh Singh is accused of harassment. Kamlesh alleges that Shailesh abused his position and threatened to be locked up in the police station by making false allegations.
