Serial killer of security guards was arrested in Bhopal, accused of killing 4 security guards in Sagar and one in Bhopal in 6 days was inspired film KGF-2.
During interrogation, the accused has also told about a deadly attack on a guard in Pune. The accused told that he is influenced by the character Rocky Bhai of the film KGF-2 and is on a mission to kill the security guards. He used to target security guards who slept on duty.
The name of the accused is Shiv Gond. He studied till Class 8 and has worked in Goa. The accused also speaks English.
He revealed that he wanted to be a gangster like Rocky Bhai of KGF-2 movie and was collecting money for it. Further, his plan was to target the policemen. By doing this he wanted to become famous. The accused is being interrogated in a closed chamber.
The name of the accused of serial killing is Shiv Gond. He is a resident of Kesli in Sagar. He was arrested by Sagar Police from Bhopal on Friday.
The police caught the accused serial killer from Lalghati area of Bhopal by tracing the mobile location. The mobile through which the police reached the accused belonged to the same security guard, who was murdered by the accused last week in Sagar.
On August 28 the accused killed his first target in Sagar's Cantt police station area Kalyan Lodhi (50), a watchman posted in a factory, was killed with a hammer. Shambhu Narayan Dubey (60) was the second victim of another watchman on duty at the Government Arts and Commerce College and was killed with a stone on his head in the night of 29 August in the Civil Line police station area.
Mangal Ahirwar, a guard of a house, was murdered in the night on August 30 in Moti Nagar police station area.
The accused has committed the fourth murder in Bhopal, Sonu Verma (23) was killed on Thursday night in Bhopal who used to work in a marble shop in the road area. His head has been crushed with pieces of marble.
There is also a suspicion of another murder in Sagar. The pattern of killing of another watchman in Sagar in May matches with the murder of 4 guards, so he is also being linked to it.
250 policemen were looking for 10 teams
Superintendent of Police Tarun Nayak said that 10 teams of 250 policemen were looking for him for the last two days. The accused was identified on the basis of CCTV footage. After arresting him from Lalghati area of Bhopal, the police took him to Sagar.
