The Minister of State for AYUSH Ramkishore Kanware has said that the departmental website needs to be made more and more effective in order to make the services of the Department of AYUSH easily available to the general public.
He also stressed upon the need to upgrade the website from time to time as per the aspirations of the people. Minister of State Kanware was addressing the officers after the dedication of the new website of Department of AYUSH in Mantralaya on Tuesday. Principal Secretary AYUSH Caralyn Khongwar was also present.
Minister of State Kanware said that the new website will bring more transparency in departmental activities. He directed to encourage innovation and new research in the field of AYUSH through the website. CRISP officials apprised the Minister of State about the various aspects of the website. New technology and attractive user interface have been used in the website. Now the general public will be able to get information about the department related activities, actions, infrastructure easily.
Officials of CRISP said that in order to bring transparency in the departmental website, more and more necessary information related to citizens has been included.
Apart from this, information related to Public Service Guarantee and Right to Information is also included in the departmental website. Besides, information about the facilities available in hospitals and dispensaries related to Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani is also given. Through the website, common citizens will be able to get advice regarding diseases from AYUSH experts. Ayush Cure, a useful application of the department has also been added to the website, which has recently won the Silver Award at the national level at the prestigious Skoch Awards.
