Major administrative reshuffle in Punjab, 43 IAS transferred

In a major administrative reshuffle, Punjab Government on Wednesday transferred as many as 43 IAS and 38 PCS officers,

giving additional charge to some of the senior officers.

 

The state’s Additional Chief Secretary (Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare) Saravjit Singh has been given the charge of Soil

and Water Conservation; while the Principal Secretary (Planning) Vikas Pratap has been given the additional charge of Animal

Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries, relieving Saravijt Singh.

 

Ravinder Kumar Kaushik has been posted as Sugarfed managing director, in addition to the charge of Faridkot Divisional

Commissioner.

 

The state Taxation Commissioner KK Yadav will hold the additional charge of Bureau of Investment Promotion’s Chief

Executive Officer, whereas Arshdeep Singh Thind is the new administrator of Punjab Urban Planning and Development

Authority in addition to the current charge of Town and Country Planning director.

 

Industries and Commerce director C Sibin has now been given the additional charge of Information Technology director, and

Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration additional director.

 

Kanwal Preet Brar is the Special Secretary (NRI Affairs), in addition to beingPunjab State Warehousing Corporation’s

managing director in place of Bhupinder Singh, who will now be the Special Secretary (Health and Family Welfare).

 

Neelima has now been posted as Punjab Health System Corporation’s managing director, in addition to State Health Agency’s

CEO, whereas Sanjay Popli will be the Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, in addition to Pensions’s director.

 

Mohinder Singh will be PUNSUP managing director, while Varinder Kumar Sharma has been posted as Punjab Water Supply

and Sewerage Board’s chief executive officer.

 

Sonali Giri is Punjab Energy Development Agency’s chief executive officer (CEO), whereas Isha has been posted as Punjab

Municipal Infrastructure Development Company’s joint managing director-cum-CEO. TPS Phoolka has been posted as

National Health Mission’s mission director, whereas Karnesh Sharma will now be Tourism and Cultural Affairs’ director.

 

Jalandhar Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori has been given the additional charge of Jalandhar Development Authority

chief administrator, whereas Sandeep Hans will be Hoshiarpur’s new Deputy Commissioner in addition to the charge of

Hoshiarpur Municipal Corporation’s commissioner.

 

Kumar Saurabh Raj has been posted as Special Secretary (Excise and Taxation), in addition to Special Secretary (Home

Affairs and Justice), whereas Girish Dayalan will now be Governance Reforms and Public Grievances’ director.

 

Deepti Uppal is the new Director General, Employment Generation and Training, in addition to the Punjab Skill Development

Mission. Shena Aggarwal has been posted as Ludhiana Municipal Corporation commissioner, while Keshav Hingonia is

special secretary, cooperation.

 

Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner Surabhi Malik has been given the additional charge of Greater Ludhiana Area Development

Authority chief administrator, while Pathankot Deputy Commissioner Harbir Singh will hold the additional charge of

Pathankot Municipal Corporation commissioner.

 

Similarly, Patiala Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney has been given the additional charge of Patiala Development

Authority chief administrator, whereas Rajesh Dhiman will now be Director, Sports and Youth Affairs.
