The vehicles carrying Odisha registration mark and registration number ending with 1, 2, 3 and 4 have to affix the HSRP by November 30, 2022

Notably, this is the second time when the Government has extended the deadline. Earlier, the State Transport Authority (STA) had extended the deadline by one month up to January 31.

Besides, the STA had previously requested the Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC) to make necessary arrangements to facilitate HSRP booking facilities at Mo SevaKendras across the State for people who may not have access to internet or do not have knowledge of technology to apply online.

The STA has also asked all OEMs (Original Vehicle Manufacturers) to open the HSRP help desk at all RTO and ARTO offices to provide HSRP booking facility to vehicle owners at RTO offices.

The OEMs were also instructed to organise camps at 88 locations in the State and other places where dealer network of all OEMs is not available.
