Friday, 23 September 2022 | Staff Reporter | NEW DELHI

Following the ongoing expansion work at the  Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport’s Terminal-1, the Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has issued an advisory regarding the change in traffic movement at Terminal-1 departure from September 26.   According to the advisory, due to the ongoing phase-3A expansion work at Terminal 1, there is change in traffic movement for the vehicles leaving the T1 Departure Ramp from midnight of Monday.

“Any vehicle coming to T1 Departures will have to make a U-turn at the end of the Departure forecourt ramp and exit the terminal through the newly widened up-ramp to take Mehram Nagar Road for their airport exit,” the advisory further read.

“The present exit of the Departure ramp will give way for the construction of Integrated Terminal 1. For easy movement of traffic, DIAL has also increased the width of Departure ramp in front of the Terminal 1. Passengers are advised to plan their travel accordingly,” the advisory said.
