The Government of Madhya Pradesh has removed Kailash Makwana, a senior IPS officer of the 1988 batch of the Indian Police Service, and other officers from their current posts and posted them on new positions.
According to the information, senior IPS officer Kailash Makwana was having a direct dispute with the Lokayukta, due to which he was removed from the post of Director General, Special Police Establishment, Lokayukta Sangathan, Bhopal and made the President of Madhya Pradesh Police Housing Corporation, Bhopal.
Similarly, the 1990 batch of the Indian Police Service Officer KT Waiphei has been removed from the post of Additional Director General of Police, Lokayukta Sangathan, Bhopal and assigned the responsibility of Additional Director General of Police, Cooperative Fraud and Public Service Guarantee Police Headquarters, Bhopal.
Indian Police Service 1996 batch officer Yogesh Chaudhary, officer on special duty with Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh has been transferred as Additional Director General of Police, Special Police Establishment, Lokayukta Sangathan, Madhya Pradesh Bhopal. ?
Similarly, 1998 batch Indian Police Service officer Sajid Farid Shapu has been removed from the post of Inspector General of Police, Anti-Naxal Campaign, Police Headquarters, Bhopal, and given the post of Inspector General of Police, Special Armed Forces at Police Headquarters, Bhopal.
