Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday said that the cooperation shown by the corporate houses under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) along with the government efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic has been commendable.
“IT companies like Infosys have a name in the country and the world. Even in this time of crisis, Infosys is brilliantly performing its responsibility,” the Chief Minister said while flagging off the COVID Vaccination Mobile Van donated by Infosys to Civil Hospital, Sector-6, Panchkula under CSR.
The COVID Vaccination mobile van will be used for vaccination in remote areas like Morni Hills in the Panchkula district. Besides this, this van will be used as part of the special campaign for vaccination in the slums of the city.
Panchkula district is the third such district in the state where the first and second doses of vaccination have been administered to almost 100 percent of the population. Now people will be motivated for booster doses. Those who have taken the second dose in March and April 2021 are eligible for a booster dose, it was informed.
Speaker Gian Chand Gupta was also present on the occasion.
