Riya Tirkey, who represented Jharkhand in the Grand Finale of Femina Miss India-2022, had a courtesy call on Chief Minister Hemant Soren here on Tuesday. The CM congratulated Tirkey for achieving this position in this prestigious competition and honoured her with memento and ‘angvastram’. The CM said that she is the first tribal daughter of Jharkhand, who has travelled to the Grand Finale of Femina Miss India-2022 due to her talent, dedication and hard work. She has done the best performance in the entire competition. Entire Jharkhand is proud of her achievement. He wished for many more achievements and gave her best wishes for the future.
The CM said that there is no dearth of talent among the tribal and regional artists of Jharkhand. They have been continuously showcasing their talent. They are also getting a lot of love from the audience. But, due to some problems, they are facing difficulties in establishing themselves on the big platform. These things are in the notice of the government. The government is making constant efforts to support its artists in every way. Financial assistance is being provided to them, so that they can bring laurels to the state with their performance.
He said that there is no dearth of talented painters in the State. There is a lot of interest especially among children towards painting. His beautiful sketching simply captivates the mind. The government is contemplating to set up an art gallery to cherish the paintings made by them. Not only this, whatever support is needed for these artists to move forward will be provided to them.
Tirkey expressed her gratitude for the support extended by the CM. She said that as a result of your re-tweeting what I had tweeted in support of the journey till the Grand Finale of Femina Miss India-2022, my followers have increased a lot. I got a lot of love from the whole country including Jharkhand. She told the CM that she was interested to work in Jharkhand. If given such an opportunity, she will definitely consider herself lucky to play it.
