After staying in Mausibari for eight days, Lord Jagannath returned to his home at Jagannath Temple. BSL's Executive Director (Personnel and Administration) Sanjay Kumar completed the rituals of worship and chhera guarding. Devotees and other townspeople were also present in large numbers on the occasion.
After this, Lord Jagannath, Balaram and Mata Subhadra were sent off with a flower shower by sitting on a chariot in Shri Ram temple by the Pahandi method. The chariot reached the Jagannath temple via Sector 1 and Sector 4. On the way, the members of the women's committee distributed sherbet, in which other institutions of the city also contributed.
