370 blood units collected at SEEWA J’pore camp

On the eve of Netaji’s 125th birthday, the Social Environmental Educational Welfare Association (SEEWA), Jeypore, held a mega blood donation camp here. A total of 370 units were collected in the camp.

 

Despite of Covid fear, a large number of people turned up to the camp for donating blood voluntarily. The Blood Bank from SLNMC, Koraput, District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), Jeypore and DHH, Nabrangpur participated and collected the blood. 

 

Jeypore MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati, Chairman, Seeds Corporation, Iswar panigrahi, MLA Pritam Padhi and Indira Nanda visited the camp and appreciated the donors. 

  

The camp was organised to meet the blood deficiency in the two districts of Koraput and Nabarangpur mainly during the ongoing pandemic time, said Pratap Pattanaik, Pradipta Sahu and Pramod Kumar Raul, among others who coordinated.
