The Uttar Pradesh government on Friday transferred 18 IPS officers, including those who were earlier promoted as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) rank.

Sabharaj, who was the SP of State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB), was promoted as DIG at the same place. Swami Prasad, who was the SP of Special Investigation Cell in Lucknow, was made the DIG at the same place.

Saumitra Yadav, who was the SP (Railway), was promoted and transferred to the UP-112 as DIG. Ramesh, who was working as the SP, Intelligence Headquarters (Lucknow), was made the DIG at the same place.

SP, EOW (Kanpur), Baburam was posted as the DIG of CBCID (Lucknow) while SP, Food Cell (Lucknow), Dayanand Mishra as the DIG at the same place.

Commandant of 25th battalion PAC, Rae Bareli, Yogesh Singh was posted as the DIG of Women and Child Protection Organisation in Lucknow after promotion.

SP, CBCID (Lucknow), Geeta Singh was shifted to the post of DIG, Prosecution (Lucknow).

Commandant of 20th battalion PAC in Azamgarh N Kolanchi was posted as the DIG, Cyber Crime (Lucknow), while SP, Special Investigation Cell, Sarvesh Kumar Rana was posted as the DIG, Food and Logistics Administration, Lucknow.

SP (R) Information, Moradabad, Jugal Kishore was posted as the DIG Telecom (Lucknow), while SP, CBCID (Lucknow), Vinod Kumar Mishra as DIG, Anti-Corruption Organisation (Lucknow) in place of Rajeev Malhotra who will now join as the DIG, Police Training School in Unnao.

SP, SIT (Kanpur), Balendu Bhushan Singh was shifted to Lucknow as the DIG, Logistics, while SP, Technical Services (Lucknow) Dr Arvind Bhushan Pandey was promoted to the DIG rank at the same place.

SP, Cooperative Cell, Dr Akhilesh Kumar Nigam was shifted as DIG, EOW (Lucknow), while SP, Intelligence Headquarters (Lucknow), Lallan Singh was promoted as the DIG at the same place.

Similarly, SP, Training Directorate (Lucknow), Mahendra Yadav was also promoted to the DIG rank at the same place.
