The Uttar Pradesh government transferred seven IPS officers late Thursday night, changing the superintendents of police of four districts. New district police chiefs were posted in Jalaun, Siddharthnagar, Kasganj and Hamirpur. As per reports, Yashveer Singh, a 2013 batch IPS officer, was sent from Jalaun to Siddharthnagar as district police chief while Ravi Kumar, a 2015 batch officer posted as deputy commissioner in Lucknow police commissionerate, was posted as SP of Jalaun.
Botre Rohan Pramod, a 2016 batch IPS officer posted as SP (City) in Agra, was shifted as SP in Kasganj while SP, Regional Intelligence, Gorakhpur, Kamlesh Kumar Dixit, was transferred to Hamirpur as SP.
Similarly, former SP of Siddharthnagar, Ram Abhilash Tripathi, was transferred as SP of Regional Intelligence in Gorakhpur. SP of Kasganj, Manoj Sonkar, was transferred as Commandant of PAC Battalion in Fatehpur while SP of Hamirpur, Narendra Kumar, was transferred as Commandant of PAC Battalion in Agra.
