State Bank of India celebrated its 66th Foundation Day on Thursday with great enthusiasm and zeal in all its branches and offices in the states of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. SBI carried out various activities to mark the occasion.
Chief General Manager Umesh Kumar Pandey administered the Bank’s Day pledge to the staff members at Local Head Office. In his message he appealed to the staff to passionately guard the glory of SBI, take pride in their work, improve the skills and take personal responsibility for sustaining SBI’s position as a leader and pioneer in financial services. Pandey alongwith other General Managers planted saplings in LHO premises and viewed the paintings made by wards of staff members. As a mark of its commitment towards environment conservation, SBI distributed saplings of Tulsi, Giloy, Aloe Vera and Amla to its staff on the occasion. General Managers Sandeep Datta and Geeta Tripathi, DGM & Circle Development Officer U. Dinesh Shanbhag, other DGMs and staff members also attended the programmes held in Bhopal Local Head Office.
At the Corporate Centre of SBI in Mumbai, an in-house cultural programme was hosted by the multi-talented Celebrity Host Sunil Grover in the presence of Chairman Dinesh Khara. SBI staff in MP & CG virtually joined this programme.
