Prof Sanjay Kumar Nayak has been appointed as new Vice-Chancellor of the Ravenshaw University here for a period of four years.
Currently, Prof Nayak is Director General (Chief Academic Officer) of the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET), Chennai. He has more than 34 years of teaching experience and has authored 35 books. He is inventor of 25 Indian Patents and 30 Design Registrations. He has also guided a DSc and 40 PhD scholars.
Governor and Chancellor of Universities Prof Ganeshi Lal appointed Prof Nayak as Vice-Chancellor for a period of four years with effect from the date he assumes office as such or until further orders, whichever is earlier,” said a Government notification.
