Police officers given new responsibilities

In an adminisrative  reshuffle, 11 senior police officers in Chhattisgarh including one from IPS were assigned new duties on Tuesday.

The transferred officers include six Additional Superintendents of Police (ASPs), a City Superintendent of Police (CSP) and four Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), a government order said.

Indian Police Services (IPS) officer Sunil Sharma, the ASP at Sukma, was appointed ASP at Surguja. Likewise, Rohit Jha (0ASP Durg) has been appointed as ASP Bilaspur Rural.

Similarly, Pragyan Meshram (ASP Durg Rural) is now ASP IUCAW Durg, Sanjay Dhruv ASP (Bilaspur Rural) becomes ASP Bilaspur (City), Anant Sahu ASP (Kondagaon) moves to ASP (Durg Rural), Om Chandel ASP (Surguja) becomes ASP (Sukma), Manishankar Chandra CSP (Rajnandgaon) becomes DSP Naxal Operations at Naryanpur, Lokesh Devangan (DSP Naxal Operations Narayanpur) is CSP (Rajnandgaon), Abhishek Jha DSP (PHQ Raipur) is now DSP (Durg), Harish Patil DSP (PHQ Raipur) shifts to SDOP (Mohla Manpur), and Parul Agarwal DSP (Raipur) becomes DSP (Special cell Raipur).
