Paradise Society has provided logistics and material support to students in far off areas of Ranchi and Khunti districts. The items include notebooks of English, Maths and Hindi (7500 Pcs), Pencil Box (with 4 pencils, 2 sharpener, 2 eraser, 1 ruler) – 1200 sets, Water Container with Dispenser - 20 Pcs, Drinking glasses –100 Pcs, Big Sitting Mat (Dari) – 20 Pcs, White Board – 40 Pcs, White Board Dusters – 40 Pcs, Marker Pen (Assorted Colours) – 320 Pcs, Black Slate – 400 Pcs, White Chalk – 320 Boxes, Small Ringing Bell – 40 Pcs, Drawing Copy –1200 Pcs, Wax Colouring Set – 1200 Pkts, Daily Attendance Register – 40, Wall Hanging Charts – 320 Pcs, Pencils – 5000 Pcs, Eraser – 2400 Pc, Cutter – 2400 Pcs, Small Scale – 1200 Pcs, Hand Sanitizer – 5 ltr Jar – 40 Jars, Children Small size Football – 40 Pcs and Rubber Rings – 160 Pcs.
Total project cost was Rs 5 Lakh (Aprox). Ankit Modi sponsored copies worth around Rs 1,50,000, Puneet Poddar and Pankaj Poddar of Premsons Motor donated Rs. 1,50,000 and AjayKumar of ASHA NGO played a notable role in the project (lunch expenses of rural children studying in the class and honorarium of teachers were borne by his organization).
ASHA NGO has trained and motivated community counselors to provide educational support to children in their respective villages and can involve community counselors in this journey. This unique experiment has been done by the ASHA NGO so that the education of the children continues, for this only the fellow mentors of the ASHA organization are going to the children's villages and running classes.
These classes are conducted in the garden or under the shade of a tree. This unique experiment of the school is being liked by the children and their parents very much. All the children's breakfast has also been arranged by the ASHA NGO organization. So far we have been able to reach 3600 such children in the age group of 4-14 in 40 villages of Ranchi and Khunti districts (Our classes are on for 3600 children in 40 villages of Namkum and Karra blocks of Ranchi and Khunti districts).
