Indian institute of Forest Management organised Two days’ online workshop on ‘Leveraging XV Finance Commission Resources for the Forestry Sector’ for Indian Forest Services Officers on August 12 and 13, 2021. Praveen Garg, Special Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Government of India, was the Chief Guest and Keynote speaker on this Occasion.
He provided insight about the contribution of state officers in the forestry sector and motivate officers to work with renewed energy in their sector. Pankaj Srivastava, Director, Indian Institute of Forest Management, talk about the importance of such training programs and challenges in this sector. He also motivates officers with his kind words. Sandeep Tambe, CVRS Vijay Kumar and other faculty members of this Institute was present on this occasion.
Nimai Das and Madhur Raj Jain, was the Program Director of this Online Training Workshop.
