Haryana reports 121 fresh Covid-19 cases

With 121 fresh Covid-19 cases, Haryana’s caseload surged to 269730 on Sunday.

As per the bulletin, no death was reported in the last 24 hours. There were 861 active cases in the state till the evening. 265827 patients including 76 in the last 24 hours have so far recovered from the virus in the state.

Till now, 3042 people have succumbed to the virus in the state.

In the last 24 hours, a maximum of 30 fresh cases were reported from Gurugram followed by 20 in Kurukshetra.

Out of 30 critical patients admitted in the hospitals, 26 patients were on oxygen support while four were on ventilator, the health bulletin said.

According to the bulletin, the fatality rate is recorded at 1.13 percent in Haryana. The case-doubling rate in Haryana stood at 139 days, COVID positive rate was 4.86 per cent and recovery rate was recorded at 98.55 percent.

As many as 55.5 lakh samples have been tested till date in Haryana, it added.

Chd reports 28 fresh COVID cases

28 fresh COVID-19 cases were detected in the union territory of Chandigarh on Sunday taking the total infections to 21425.In the last 24 hours, no death has been reported in the city due to the virus. The death toll due to COVID-19 stands at 349, as per the Chandigarh Health Department’s evening bulletin.

19 males and 9 females were tested positive in the last 24 hours. There were 186 active cases till the evening. 11 patients have recovered in the past 24 hours taking the total number of recoveries to 20890, the bulletin stated.

243429 samples have so far been tested in the city. A total of 1127 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours and the report of 63 was awaited, the bulletin added.
