Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI) on Monday wrote a letter to the Chief Minister and the departmental officers for the posting of President of Consumer Forum Court to remove the technical flaws of the e-Niman portal and to make the process of vehicle registration paperless in Jharkhand on the lines of other states.

Through the letter it has been informed to the Chief Minister that the people of the State are not getting the benefit of these Consumer Forum Courts due to the vacancies in the Commission for the last three years from the post of Chairperson to the District and State level. FJCCI president, Praveen Jain Chhabra and former president, Arun Budhia said that the service providers are taking advantage and the consumers are suffering due to lack of Chairman and member in the commission. More than 2000 cases are pending in Ranchi District Commission due to non-availability of Chairman. It was urged that for resolving the problems of the consumers, at the earliest, initiatives related to the posting of Chairman in Consumer Forum Courts of all the districts of the State should be taken.

Through the letter it has been also informed to the State Government that the details of the registered lease used to come out on the portal of the Revenue and Land Reforms Department ‘e-Nibandhan’ of land, zone, account number, plot number but due to the closure of this facility for the last one month, people are facing difficulties.

The portals used to ensure easy availability of land registration information to the people but at present people are feeling uncomfortable due to the closure of this facility on the portal. It was requested that an initiative should be taken to start the system of providing the details of registered lease from the e-Nimbadhan portal.
