The Chhattisgarh government on Thursday issued new travel guidelines for travellers coming to the state as part of preventive measures to contain the spread of Covid-19.
Accordingly, the persons who have certificates to prove both anti-Covid doses have been administered to them need not carry a RT-PCR negative test report. The mandatory provision of having a negative RT-PCR test report not earlier than 72 days has now been relaxed to not earlier than 96 days.
For those who do not have Covid negative test report, arrangements have been made for health check-ups and Covid test examination. Such passengers will have to be in home isolation till the report comes. Instructions have been issued to all Divisional Commissioners, Inspectors General of Police, Collectors and Superintendents of Police to ensure Covid Test for travelers coming to Chhattisgarh.
The instructions will be displayed at every bus stand, railway station as well as at airports of Raipur, Bilaspur and Jagdalpur.
