The Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), dedicated to the service of the nation, stands with the nation in its hour of disaster, marking its tag line "SAIL is connected to everyone's life." Even in the critical situation arising from the second wave of Corona epidemic, SAIL stands firmly to ensure consistent supply of oxygen. SAIL, including BSL, is supplying liquid medical oxygen from the oxygen plant of all its plants to various states so that there is no lack of oxygen in the treatment of patients infected with corona.
In the same episode, on May 19, Bokaro Steel Plant released 83.67 metric tonnes of liquid medical oxygen in five tankers from Oxygen Express for Uttar Pradesh and in two tankers brought by air lift from Madhya Pradesh, 22.88 metric tonnes of liquid medical oxygen was released.
Sharing information BSL COC Mani Kant Dhan said that since the beginning of the month of April, 9219.28 tonnes of liquid medical oxygen has been supplied in total whose state wise oxygen allocation dispatched via Oxygen express & Road transport includes Jharkhand 1747.04MT , UP 2705.16 MT ,Bihar 1839.59 MT ,WB 28.41 MT , PB 1063.59 MT ,Maharashtra 19.13 MT, Madhya Pradesh 1761.58 MT ,Andhra Pradesh & Delhi 54.78 MT.
