Chhattisgarh Police on Thursday seized 632 kg of cannabis valued at Rs 50 lakhs in Gariaband district.
An unidentified driver of a van ferrying the contraband fled from the spot, Gariaband Superintendent of Police Parul Mathur told The Pioneer.
The contraband was being transported to Raipur city.
The police intercepted the vehicle in Toiyamuda village, she said. The cannabis was in 158 packets.
