Chhattisgarh Police on Sunday seized 370 kg of cannabis valued at Rs 7.37 lakhs in Gariaband district.
An unidentified driver of a car ferrying the contraband escaped, Gariaband Superintendent of Police Parul Mathur told The Pioneer.
The contraband was being transported from Odisha via National Highway-353.
During checking, the police intercepted the car near the Kosmi-Nayapara trijunction, Mathur said.
The cannabis was packed in 44 packets and stuffed in five gunny bags. Also seized from a country made pistol.
