A 27-year-old youth was electrocuted while working at Danish Kunj under Kolar  police station area on Saturday.

According to the police, the deceased Jitendra Vishwakarma was electrocuted and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.

Police were informed and on the receipt of the information a police team reached the spot and started investigation.

After the preliminary investigation, the body was sent for post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the IPC and started further investigation.The youth was electrocuted while working and soon after he was electrocuted, he fell from the place where he was working which proved fatal for him. The deceased used to work as electrician with a private company and was working when the power supply was on and during work he got electrocuted. Meanwhile a 75-year-old man died in a road accident in Kamla Nagar area on Saturday; man died while undergoing treatment at JP hospital.

Police said that the injured was taken to hospital he was declared dead. Police said that the man met accident while he was moving towards house..

The deceased was identified as Laxman Dilara who was returning in the evening when he met accident. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC and started further investigation. The locals informed the police and on the receipt of the information police team rushed to the spot and started investigation. Police have not found any details of the vehicle which escaped the spot after the accident.
