The Uttar Pradesh government is making all efforts to make youth self-reliant by imparting training to them. In order to provide employment to the youth, the government has connected them with the Skill Development department. The government is constantly working to promote traditional industries. In this series, lakhs of youth of the state have been linked with employment and self-employment.
On Thursday, three youth, who became self-reliant and are leading a respectable life, shared their story with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during the Kaushal Satrang programme held at Lok Bhawan.
A student of ITI, Barabanki, Upendra Kumar, thanked Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and said that the government had given jobs to the unemployed. It is because of the job fairs organised by the state government that today Kumar is working in a good position in Hero Motocorp Company at Haridwar.
Kumar said that he was getting a stipend of Rs 15,000 due to which he was leading a respectable life.
Atul Kumar Sharma from Lucknow, who has got employment through Employment Exchange, said that jobs were being provided to unemployed youths through the employment exchange portal.
Thanking the government, Sharma said that due to the employment exchange portal, today he was working in Maruti Suzuki, one of the largest automobile companies of the country, and all the others like him were getting a respectable amount of Rs 18,000 per month.
Jitendra Kumar of Ghatampur, who has been trained under Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission, said that today he was able to achieve this position only because of the skill development mission run by the government. Owing to the business, his annual income is up to Rs 5-6 lakh per annum.
He said that he was happy that he was participating in the progress of the state.
