nThe North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NMC) has extended the last date of payment of property tax with 15 per cent rebate for timely payment for the lump sum payment of the property tax for the year 2020-21.
North mayor Jai Prakash said that earlier the last date was 31st July. “The decision is taken to facilitate the property tax payers who could not deposit the property tax availing the benefit of 15% for timely payment,” he said.
Prakash said that extension of date would facilitate the genuine taxpayers who could not do it earlier. On the other hand, the Corporation would get revenue; hence, this decision has been taken in interest of the public.
