The five-day Malyagiri festival came to close on March 9. Culture and Tourism Minister Jyotiprakas Panigrahi was the chief guest, while other dignitaries present were Talcher MLA Brajakishore Pradhan and Sub-Collector Pallahara Ajit Pradhan.
Local MLA Mukesh Pal urged Minister Panigrahi to develop the Khuludi waterfall and second Chilika of the State in Pallahara. The first MLA of Pallahara Mrutyunjaya Pal, first IAS Udayanath Sahu and first IFS Harinarayan Sahu were felicitated on the occasion. Sub-Collector Pradhan gave a vote of thanks. A cultural show ensued at the end.
