Marandi hits Soren Govt over notice to Dubey’s wife

Monday, 07 December 2020 | PNS | Ranchi

Senior BJP leader and former chief minister Babulal Marandi has attacked the State Government and Deoghar district administration for issuing notice to Anamika Gautam , head of a reputed fashion firm and wife of Godda MP Nishikant Dubey. The BJP leader claimed that the Deoghar district administration’s notice to Anamika clearly indicates that Jharkhand government is harassing people with political malice.

Marandi said that how could the Deoghar police administration dare to have such “abusive correspondence” with a reputed woman? The Chief Minister should answer this, he added. He said that the kind of language used in the notice asking the woman to be present within 48 hours is highly objectionable.

Marandi said that due to political rivalry, the State Government is dragging family members of the opposition party leaders.

The Deoghar police station has issued a notice to the online entertainment private limited proprietor Anamika Gautam to provide a copy of the registration of the company and the bank details of 2016 and 2020 of two bank accounts as well as the balance sheet of the company.

Meanwhile, in another development, the State BJP observed the death anniversary of Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar as Mahaparinirvan Diwas  at party office. On the 64th Mahaparinirvan Divas tributes were paid to Baba Saheb’s portrait on the occasion. State BJP organizational secretary Dhrampal Singh said that Baba Saheb’s thoughts and ideals gave strength to millions of people, and the BJP is committed to fulfill the dreams of Babasaheb which he had for nation. “His thoughts will continue to inspire us all. Baba Saheb’s entire life was devoted to the country service,” said Singh.

Singh said that Dr. Ambedkar was a strong nationalist thinker. His role in the framing of the Indian Constitution is mentioned in golden letters. He spent his whole life in struggle to bring equality to the Dalit community in society.

His ideas inspired millions of people. “His call that be educated, stay organized, and struggle inspires crores of Dalit, deprived society,” added Singh. Several BJP leaders including state general secreyary Aditya Sahu and other leaders including Manoj Singh, Kajal Pradhan, Shiv Pujan Pathak, Ashok Badaik, Suman Kumar, Rajshree Jayanti, Shivshankar Oraon, Kisalaya Tiwari, Manoj Dubey were present on the occasion.
