Days after his meeting with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’ in Mumbai, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has sought permission from the Uttar Pradesh government to shoot his upcoming film ‘Ram Setu’ in Ayodhya.
On December 1, Yogi Adityanath had met Akshay Kumar in Mumbai where the UP chief minister assured all cooperation to the Bollywood stars and had invited them to shoot in the state.
Sources said that during that meeting Akshay had sought the government’s permission to ‘Ram Setu’ in Ayodhya. The approval was given immediately.
The film ‘Ram Setu’ would be intensively shot at several places of UP, including Varanasi and Prayagraj, and now Ayodhya has been added to the it.
Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the film ‘Ram Setu’ will be made on Ram Setu to show whether it is real or an imagination.
During his meeting with the UP chief minister, Akshay Kumar had shown his several projects and congratulated Yogi Adityanath for developing the new film city in Noida.
