Thirty per cent non-resident Covid patients are being treated in Delhi as per the data shared by the State ( Delhi) Health Department, Delhi administration. The number of other states’ Covid -19 patients have been increased in government and private hospitals both.
According to a database having total number of patients between July 26 to August 28, the admission percentage of outside patients in Delhi has increased drastically from 19.5 percent to 30.8 percent.
It is important to mention here that the percentage of outside patients fluctuateed from 19 percent on July 27 th, 40.6 percent on August 10th to nearly 31 percent till August 28th.
It implies that the average percentage of outside corona infected patients in Delhi is 30 percent.
The Covid -19 hospital data of corona patients admitted in city hospitals further illustrated that patients from Uttar Pardesh,Bihar, Haryana, Rajasthan also admitted for the treatment.
Instance - in Delhi’s BLK hospital total 98 patients have been admitted while 47 belong to Delhi , 51 patients are from outside.
In Apollo, out of total 158 patients, 111 patients who get Corona treatment are from outside while only 47 from Delhi.
In Max, Saket out of total 175 patients, 95 are non-residents of Delhi while in Patparganj branch - 73 patients are from Delhi however 61 are from outside.
In Sir Ganga Ram hospital our of total 100 corona patients, only 44 are from Delhi and 66 patients outsiders.
If one analyse the overall data of almost one month span from July26 to August 28th, the total admission of Corona patients have been increasing.
As per government data, on July 26, 241 Covid patients were admitted in city hospitals, on July 27, the number of corona patients was 273.
In percentage wise, the outside admission in Delhi government was 32.3 percent on August 8, 34.1 percent on August 21 with total number of patients admitted 340, 28.8 percent on August 25 with 458 covid registration.
Further, if death data of span from August 3 till August 29th, 293 people outside have been died against 397 of Delhi.
Earlier, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had invited suggestions from Delhiites on whether corona patients outside Delhi should get treatment in private hospitals and Delhi government hospitals or not.
