KCET 2020 result declared today; Check Complete Details Here

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2020 Result has been declared on 21st August 2020. Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) authority has released CET result at website. Candidates can check their result through login credentials. Candidates have to enter their application number to check the result.

Earlier on August 17th 2020, “Dr CN Ashwath Narayan” Karnataka deputy chief minister said that KCET result would be declared on 20th August 2020. But due to some technical issue, Higher education postponed the result to be declared on 21st August 2020, Friday.

The ministry has also announced the result at a press conference. Therefore, candidates can check their result from website through login.

This year, total of 1,84,368 students appeared for KCET examination. It was held on 30th & 31st July 2020. Examination was organized at 497 centers across the state. Government of Karnataka also made transportation and other logistic support to candidates and their accompanying parents for the exam. 40 Covid-19 positive students also appeared for KCET examination.

  • A new page will appear on your computer screen.
  • Click on the given “KCET” link.
  • Enter Application No.
  • Submit the given security code.
  • Click on the “Submit” option.
  • Your result will appear on computer screen.
  • Download & take printout of your result for further use.

Deputy CM claimed that it is first time in history that KCET result is releasing in such a short duration. This year, it is released only after 21 days of the examination.

He also said that this year there will be no hike in fees due to corona pandemic & flood situation in the state. Also the ratio of seat sharing will remain same as it was in previous year.

Qualified candidates will further have to attend counselling to be started in the month of September 2020.
