QBonphul Air Products which aims to be the world’s most comprehensive indoor air quality (IAQ) company, has successfully attained the GreenPro certification by the Green Products and Services Council, an initiative of the CII-Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre, Hyderabad, for its oxygen optimisers branded as ‘OxyMax’.

The certification has been given to OxyMax under the ‘Innovation’ category after the successful evaluation of the product by the Council on criteria’s which include product design, product application, product performance, benefits to green built environment, product stewardship and case study. A Green Product Certification signifies that a product is ‘Green’ i.e, environment-friendly and safe. The certification is aimed to facilitate the green product market transformation in the country, enabling green building projects in selecting the right product and equipment and to increase the market demand for the green products.

Oxymax is the world’s second and India’s first oxygen optimiser. It operates in a ‘split’ mode, with an outdoor unit and an indoor unit. The outdoor unit harvests oxygen from the outside air and pumps it indoor, where it is dispensed by the indoor unit. This increases the oxygen level in the indoor air from its current level to 21 per cent, creating an environment of freshness and vigour.

In a letter to Bonphul, it is affirmed by the council that OxyMax, the oxygen optimiser contributes in maintaining the good health and wellbeing of occupants in green buildings by enhancing indoor environment quality through increasing oxygen level, and also contributes in improving the energy efficiency of such buildings.

Prior to this, OxyMax has also successfully received the ROHS and CE certifications for conforming to health, safety, and environmental protection standards. Bonphul Air Products will be felicitated with the certificate by the Council during the GreenPro Summit 2019 to be held from May 29 and 30 in Pune.
