Training organised on vehicle detection portal of MP police

Special training on Madhya Pradesh Police Vehicle Detection Portal (MPPVDP) was orgainised for preventing vehicle theft incidents and reaching offenders at Police Control Room on Thursday.

At the start of the training DIG Bhopal city, Irshad Wali said that that Madhya Pradesh Police Vehicle Detection Portal (MPPVDP) operated by Madhya Pradesh Police plays very important role in tracing vehicle theft of vehicles and preventing theft and nab criminals in the city. It is the easiest to trace stolen vehicles.

Apart from the tracking of vehicles portal is also used to curb crimes.  All participants should carefully attend the portal training as it is required for operating the portal smoothly in the police stations and functioning according to the guidelines provided to operate it.

The training was provided by Abhishek Shrivastav, Rajendra Parowha and Rajesh Sahu who said that details of all vehicles stolen at the MPPVDP are uploaded.

The portal has been linked to ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) which is installed in 60 cities of Madhya Pradesh.

The stolen vehicles are uploaded to the portal portal, they store these cameras in real time and send alerts to the related stations. In addition to the store, 4 integration has been added to this system, in which CCTNS, DAIL100, ANPR MPRTO has been added to help the police run smoothly.

Through this portal two vehicles with same registration number could be traced. Apart from this, the facility to trace the vehicles which do not have standard number plates is available in this portal.
