Sipat gets CII’s Energy Efficient award

Sipat Super Thermal Power Station of power major NTPC Limited has been recognised by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) as "Energy Efficient Unit" in the country at an Energy Efficiency Summit held in Hyderabad from September 16-18.

The award was received by Lakhan Singh, senior manager (operation), Saurabh Soni, manager (operation) and O P Meena, manager (operation) who had represented the NTPC Sipat in National Power Summit.

The NTPC Sipat is one of the most efficient power stations in the country. It is continuously generating electricity in efficient manner and serving the nation. It produces less CO2 emission / kwh by operating through super critical technology. It has also received the award of Most Water Efficient plant 2019 by Mission Energy Foundation.
