The Commissionerate police have made elaborate security arrangements to ensure smooth and peaceful elections in the State capital to be held on Tuesday.
A five-layer security ring will be thrown around the city during the voting. Total 30 platoons of police force and six companies of paramilitary forces will be engaged to avoid any untoward incident during the voting.
Sources said out of the 1,156 polling booths, 383 stations have been identified as sensitive. Total seven Assembly segments under Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha Constituency will go to polls in third phase elections on the day.
