Claiming complete control over law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Naxal activities were fully under control and the wheel of development was moving even in Naxal-affected areas.
“Personnel of PAC, CRPF and district police are doing their job efficiently in Mirzapur, which shares boundary with Madhya Pradesh, and Sonbhadra that has common boundaries with Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh, and Chandauli bordering Bihar,” Yogi said in a review meeting of chief ministers on left wing extremism-affected states at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi on Monday.

Yogi said that the Bharatiya Janata Party government in UP was closely monitoring source points in Naxal-affected areas, where there may be a possibility of raising funds for Naxalites.
“To identify such areas, combing is being carried out by CRPF, PAC and district police. Besides, many cases related to Naxals in Mirzapur, Sonbhadra and Chandauli are under consideration in courts and 38 accused are currently detained,” the Chief Minister said.
