The Kumbh Mela officer in-charge Lalit Narayan Mishra inspected the bridge under construction near Bastiram Pathshala. During inspection it was found that the the date of starting work and verification of work has not been mentioned in the project information board on site.The name and mobile phone number of the site engineer and departmental engineer too are not mentioned, which is a violation of instructions. He directed that necessary actions be taken.
An engineering of the construction company present during the inspect informed that while work on the Bastiram Pathshala bridge has been started, the construction of Devpura bridge has not been started yet.
The site engineer was asked to show the site lab on the spot, which he could not show in violation of the terms of the MoU.
The Public Works Department superintending engineer and the Kumbh Mela technical cell superintending engineer have been directed to inform the construction company’s official concerned about the violation of the terms of the MoU.
