The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), New Delhi will provide ‘Signature Award’ to toppers of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Sambalpur for two-year Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) course.
The award along with the certificate will be distributed at convocation or any other appropriate function of the IIM.
The top three students of the IIM, Sambalpur and qualifications as covered under this scheme would be eligible for full waiver of registration fee for executive programme of the ICSI, said a release.
For this, an MoU was signed between IIM Sambalpur and the ICSI New Delhi at Sambalpur. IIM Director Prof Mahadeo Jaiswal, ICSI Director Dr SK Jena, Managing Committee Member Ajay Kumar Majhi, ICSI, Bhubaneswar Chapter Executive Officer UC Mishra and faculties, students of IIM, Sambalpur and members of ICSI were present.
The ICSI is also planning to institute such an award for toppers of other universities in Odisha. The ICSI has already signed an MoU with the Berhampur University in this regard.
