Ranchi District Administration filed a First Information Report on Monday against Union Minister and BJP MP from Hazaribagh, Jayant Sinha, in connection with violation of Model Code Conduct under Section 127 of Representation of People Act. Sinha participated in convocation ceremony of IIM on March 10 after announcement of general elections and allegedly gave a political speech seeking blessings of the youths. Political parties had objected to the speech of Sinha in which he had allegedly talked about several achievements of the Union Government, the State Government and his own and also appealed for vote to make a particular person as PM once again.
