Models of the Odisha Fashion Villa celebrated the Independence Day as Khadi Fiesta. As Khadi is the National Fibre of India, the models on the theme “How Fashion can be made of Khadi” walked on the ramp wearing national flag coloured Khadi cloths.
Bhubaneswar Central MLA Ananta Narayan Jena attended as guest and felicitated veteran photographer Biren Pattanaik, fashion designer Jeet Jagjit, Photoshop editor K Stinibas Rao, videographer S Tudu, fashion model Madhu Shine, beauty expert Baishali Mohapatra, fashion photographer Badri Panda and choreographer Bidyut Kumar with the Utkal Pratibha Samman for their contribution in fashion.
Sribali Das, Sharanya Samantray, Sristhi Das, Amisha Patra, Santoshini and Snehashree Sahoo were also felicitated as they are going to represent India in International Pageants.
The show was choreographed by model Roshan and coordinated by Odisha Fashion Villa founder Abhijit Mohanty. Bollywood costume designer Jeet Jagjit was the stylist of the show.
